In my clinical practice I use evidence-based clinical practice guidelines developed and publicized by societies and national clinical organizations. Clinical practice guidelines provide research-based recommendations for the treatment of particular disorders. They are intended to assist in clinical decision making by presenting systematically developed patient care strategies in the standardized form.
